Doug Irwin Guitar

Postby Troy Estes » Sat Feb 15, 2014 7:28 pm

I am not kidding,,, I believe, through a variety of luthiers, I have in my possession, a Doig Irwin original from the mid 70's. not kidding,, blown away,, needing some way to verify. Everyone who examines/plays it says it's an Irwin with the exact circuitry as his early Garcia guitars. I am serious. I need help contacting Irwin. New to this stuff.

Oh yeah, Lets see some photos please!!! The cumulative knowledge of those who post here is immense, and you may get some answers right here.

You could also try contacting Thomas Lieber who posts here sometimes and use to work with Mr. Irwin. Here's a link to his webpage:

But lets see some photos.

I saw on Thomas Lieber's FB page that he's saying it is not an Irwin.

Outside of the obvious and the $ eye-poison, what confirmed Irwin's do we know of?
